Assistant Professor (RTDa)
Materials and composites under dynamic loading
Biography
Dr. Dayou Ma, is a fixed term researcher at Politecnico di Milano and has conducted extensive research on damage mechanics and fracture mechanisms for advanced materials. Besides, he has rich experience with nanomaterials for sensing (electromechanical) applications through both experimental and numerical approaches. He has earned Rocca Fellowship, IDEALeague Fellowship, and STSM awards that support him in traveling and working in the EU, the U.A.E., and the U.S.A., conducting research in uncertainty-aware design, materials at extreme and advanced structures. He is a principal investigator and technical leader on numerous EU (TEF) and international (SAMASII & HISTRATE) projects focused on developing advanced materials and structures.
